Our Goals

Newsflash: The January 2018 storm destroyed the beloved swimraft. The Community needs $10,000 to replace the raft. As of June 2018 we have successfully raised over $8,000. Contact wracommittee@gmail.com to make further donations.

In 2017 the WRA completed its project on renovating the Community Hall’s kitchen, upgraded the tennis courts and completed maintenance on various things around the town.

This website was set up to help improve the communication between residents in the Wainui Bay area. It was developed in a combined effort between the WRA committee and a group of students from the University of Canterbury.
